Healthy Vanilla Cheesecake With Cherries

Ingredients

  • The Eggless Cheesecake Mix by The Cheesecake (Includes Crust) – 500 grams

  • 500 ml (approximately 2.5 cups) Cold Milk

  • 10 ounces (300g) soft cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 3/4 cup softened unsalted butter

  • 3 cups sugar

  • 1.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

Then, line a 5-inches-wide flat round pan with baking paper.

Open our packet of Crust and spread it at the base of the pan. Press the crust down evenly. Next, let the crust bake for 15 minutes till golden-brown.

While the crust bakes, let’s move on to the cheesecake mix. Open the packet of our cheesecake powder in a bowl and mix it with cold milk. Once the mixture is creamy and thick, pour it over the baked crust.

Now, let the cheesecake bake for an hour and 10 minutes. Bake till the outside is set, but the centre is still a bit loose.

Let the cheesecake cool for 20 minutes at room temperature. Next, remove it from the pan and let it cool on the rack. Then, cover the cheesecake and let it rest in the fridge overnight.

For the Vanilla frosting

Combine the cream cheese and butter using a hand-held mixer at high speed. Blend till the mixture becomes creamy. Then, add the vanilla extract, sugar and salt. Mix at medium speed for 30 seconds, then at high speed till completely combined.

If you want to make your frosting thicker, you can add more sugar. Once it is to your liking, take the cheesecake out of the fridge and spread the frosting over it evenly. Then, decorate the cake with cherries to finish off.
